Waynoka Haskins' Obituary
Waynoka Olive Haskins, 90, of Broken Arrow, peacefully passed into eternity in her sleep on Tuesday, May 25, 2021. She was born July 24, 1930 in Maud Oklahoma to William Ivan and Mary Eunice Salter. She was longtime Tulsa resident who most recently attended Millennial Church but had been active in ministry for many years with other believers. Waynoka was preceded in death by her parents: a brother, Myron Cloud Salter and a sister. Wanda Lee Anders. She married William Earl Haskins on June 20, 1953 and lived with him and raised a family for almost 27 years until his death in 1980. She is survived by her son, Robert Haskins, and his wife Faye, of Owasso, and daughters Linda Sossamon and her husband, Mike, of McAlester and Amy Cook and her husband Jim, of Glenpool; 6 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. A viewing will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, June 1, 2021, at Floral Haven Funeral Home with a funeral service celebrating Waynoka’s life immediately following at 3 PM. Interment will be at 12:00 noon on Wednesday, June 2, 2021 at Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Lawton, OK. Donations may be made to the charity or ministry of your choice in her name.
Services will be held at 3 pm on Tuesday, June 1, 2021 at Floral Haven Chapel with visitation to be held one hour prior.
