Weldon Leroy Reynolds' Obituary
Weldon L. Reynolds, age 91, died on Sunday, October 14, 2007. He was born in Mena, Arkansas and traveled to Oklahoma, with his family, behind a covered wagon in 1921. He was preceded in death by his wife, Maxine Reynolds, his son, Jack Reynolds, and two grandchildren, Bobby Jack Reynolds and Robert Sunday. Weldon was a 50 year member of the Scottish Rite, Blue Lodge, and AKDAR Shrine. He served as Director of the Director Staff. He served in the Navy during World War II as a member of the Fighting Sea Bee’s. He founded Reynolds Construction Company after World War II where he worked until his retirement. Funeral services for Weldon L. Reynolds were held at 3:00pm, Wednesday, October 17, 2007 at Floral Haven Chapel, 6500 S. 129th E. Ave, Broken Arrow, OK. Nephew, Rev. Jim Reynolds officiated.Survived By: his daughter Mary Sunday-Smith and husband Paul, his son, Everett Reynolds and Pat, his daughter, Shirley Sanders, 11 grandchildren, and 13 great grandchildren.
