Wilburn Lawrence McAfee's Obituary
Wilburn Lawrence McAfee, a resident of Tulsa, passed away May 9, 2018 at the age of 87. He was born September 27, 1930 to Melvin W. McAfee and Estelle V. (Goodman) McAfee in Ellsworth, Oklahoma. He served in the United States Army and was a Veteran of the 45th Infantry. He enjoyed listening to music, playing the guitar, hunting and golfing. He worked as a missionary, was very active in his church until his passing and he retired as a Master Plumber for Mullin Plumbing Company.He was preceded in death by his parents, Melvin and Estelle McAfee; seven brothers and sisters and two sons, Chris and Gary McAfee.Survivors include his loving wife, Donna McAfee; son, Bobby Ochs and wife, Donna; daughter, Sharon Lee and husband, Jim; daughter, Carolyn Neel; son, Bill Ochs and wife, Joyce; daughter, Donna Waggoner and husband, Doyle; fifteen grandchildren; three great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and family.Viewing will be held Saturday, May 12th from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Sunday, May 13th from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Floral Haven Funeral Home.Services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Monday, May 14, 2018 at Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel in Broken Arrow. Burial will follow the service at Floral Haven Memorial Gardens.Military Honors will be conducted by the United States Army and the Patriot Guard Riders.
