Wilda Laverne 'Willie' Snyder Wilda Laverne 'Willie' Snyder, 87, was born August 30, 1924 in Altus, Ok. to Leroy and Thelma Johnson. Wilda passed away September 5, 2011 in Sand Springs, Ok. She graduated from Will Rogers High School in 1942. Wilda was bride of Gene Campbell, a WWII fighter pilot who died in a plane crash in 1949, leaving her with two children Becky 3 and Mike 1. They had been married for 7 years. Then in 1950 married Tom Snyder, who was also WWII Veteran and they were married for 37 years. She worked in the Tulsa Douglas aircraft factory during WWII and was a top-selling Avon Lady for 21 years. She was a member of White City Baptist Church (now Braden Park Baptist Church) since she was 17 years old... 70 years. She sang in the choir for 38 years, taught Sunday School and worked in the church library. Wilda is survived by Daughter and son-in-law, Rebecca and David Bouchard of Coppell, TX; son Michael Campbell of Tulsa; daughter Lara Warner of Sand Springs, OK; daughter and son-in-law, Janice and Wayne Hedman of Phoenix, AZ; son Richard Snyder of Tulsa. Grandchildren: Kathryn Bouchard of Denver, CO; David Bouchard of Sand Springs, OK; Jennifer Foti of St. Louis, MO; Anna Snyder of Tulsa; Miles Hedman of Phoenix, AZ; Sarah Walker of Phoenix, AZ and, Emily Hedman of Phoenix, AZ Other survivors: 10 great grandchildren; a multitude of nieces and nephews 'Willie' was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend who will be dearly missed If desired, Memorials may be made to Green Country Hospice Memorial Service will be 10:00 am , Monday, September 12, 2011 Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel, Broken Arrow, Ok.
