I have many vivid memories of Willeta as a younger woman who worked hard and excelled in all she did. I admired her musical talent, knowledge of music history & theory and dedication to her family and career. As I sat second chair to her for 2 years at SWOSU ‘68-70 she taught me so much on the clarinet and life. She was a good friend, a strong woman, and great Christian witness for a young woman striving to figure out what she wanted to do life. She was a strong role model for me.
Tina, I loved watching you grow while babysitting (Weatherford years), sleeping in backseats, auditorium seats and traveling with your family to concerts, competitions and exploring some of the Panhandle. I will always remember your sweet smile and small hand in mine.
Bill & Arletta your friendship was special as well through college and know how much she loved you guys.
I know you all miss her hugs, smiles, love and care. I missed so many later years & connections but know the impact she and your family had on me and so many young people though the decades. I pray that God’s Grace and the promise for a reunion with our loved ones in Christ brings you comfort and peace. Love
