William Robert Anderson Sr.'s Obituary
William Robert Anderson, Sr. was born on August 18, 1940 in San Francisco, California. His family is from Scotland and Wales. He passed away on October 8, 2017 at his home in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. He was 77 years old.He was married to Marjorie Elaine (Dean) Anderson on May 22, 1971 in Sacramento, California at the Christian Church.He served in the U.S. Navy for 3 years. He served aboard the U.S.S. Shangri-La and the U.S.S. Lofberg. He worked for the department of Defense until he retired and moved to Muskogee, Oklahoma where he worked for many years for the Sheet Metal Workers Union Local 270 of Tulsa, Oklahoma supervising many sheet metal jobs. He was still a long time member until his death. However, he was not one to not be busy so Mr. Anderson went to work for the Kliessler Corporation supervising the installation of Dust Control Systems for paper mills all over the world.He also raised cattle on a ranch in Muskogee, Oklahoma. He raised Santa Gertrudis and Black Angus cattle.He is survived by his wife of 46 years, his sons William Robert Anderson, Jr. who is married to Jacqueline DeAnn Anderson, their son, Kael Kennett Anderson, and Kenneth B. Anderson and Kevin R, Anderson, and Kevin’s daughter, Kriston Lee Anderson all of Sacramento, California, Oma Jo Davis, Sister-in-Law, her daughter, Karen E. Crews and husband Jim Crews, their son, Andrew Crews and his wife Laura Mock Crews, and daughter, Jamie Crews of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, brother John Kennett Anderson and wife Shannon Anderson, and son Kennett Anderson of Colfax, California.Mr. Anderson was preceded in death by his father, Kennett Anderson and mother, Mary Morris (Campbell) Siebert, sisters Kathleen Santos and Joyce MaCarthy of Sacramento, California, twin sisters, Martha Lee Stone and Mary Lou Johnson of California, his father-in-law, J. Coy Dean, mother-in-law, Marguerite L. Dean, his niece, Kimberly L. (Davis) Childers of Tulsa, Oklahoma, his nephew, Jeffrey Davis of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, and brother-in-law, Eugene V. Davis of Muskogee, Oklahoma and brother-in-law Coy A. Dean of Texas.Mr. Anderson loved people. He loved fishing, hunting, bowling, gardening, and landscaping. He left fingerprints on the landscape of every house he ever lived in.You are missed Mr. Anderson. Your family misses you and we love you very much.
