Bill & I worked together at US Cellular as Sales Managers. He was very nice and his team, as well as all others, enjoyed working with him. He kept in contact with some after leaving. He came to “reunions” we held as well. It’s been awhile since we last saw each other. I ran into him & it was just like old times, picking up where we left off. Bill, you’re resting in the ultimate place now. Thank you for your friendship & the yrs working together. Sincerely, Mary Stone
Beth, Tom and JR;
My heart goes out to you guys. Praying that the Lord surrounds you with his amazing presence as He sends angels to minister to your soul and spirit. In His presence, may you know the peace of God that surpasses all understanding and guards your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. Bill will be missed tremendously.
About 16/17 years ago, I ran over a squirrel on the way to the bus stop to pick up the boys. I was beside myself. I called Bret crying that I had killed a squirrel and I didn't know what to do. I didn't want the boys to see a dead squirrel in the road. While Bret was very compassionate, he told me to call the animal control and they would pick it up. The squirrel laid in the road for the next 5 days. Every time I would drive by, I would cry. Unbeknownst to me, Bret also told his father. A couple of months later, we visited Grandpa Bill and Gramma Beth in Tulsa. As we approached the front door, we could see a sign attached. The sign said "BEWARE" a squirrel killer is visiting here today along with some other teasing language. Every birthday from that time forward, I received a "squirrel" birthday card in the mail. Bill knew how to take life's disappointing moments and turn them into fun. I was able to laugh about accidently killing a squirrel. This is just one of my many memorable moments with Bill. He will be missed greatly.
I am praying in the days ahead that you are able to focus on the good and fun times you had with Bill. May our heavenly Father comfort, lead, guide and protect you.
Love you guys,
Teresa
Beth and Family,
I just learned from Marilee Lonergan of Bill’s passing. I know we haven’t been in touch in years but the news brings such emotions and our deepest sympathies. I know you had a wonderful life together and two great boys but this is a profound loss! Please know we are holding you all close in prayer. Sincerely, Fred and Sarah Keehn
