William A. "Bill" Bremer's Obituary
William A. “Bill” Bremer, 74, of Broken Arrow, OK passed away on Tuesday, January 10, 2017. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 4, 2017 at 2:00 PM at the Mason Chapel at Asbury United Methodist Church, Tulsa, OK. He was born on October 3, 1942, in Belvidere, Illinois, the son of Adolph and Elsie (Phelps) Bremer. On December 15, 1962, he married Dorothy Faltys in Schuyler, Nebraska. Bill served in the United States Air Force from 1962 – 1966, having served in the Philippines, and Thailand. He had worked as a computer technician for IBM, Amdahl, and EMC, having retired from there in 2011. Following his retirement, he and Dorothy enjoyed traveling across the country in their RV. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Bremer, of Broken Arrow, OK, four children, Deborah Gilmartin, and her husband, Mark, of New Market, Maryland, Mark Bremer, of Broken Arrow, OK, David Bremer, of Sand Springs, OK, and Matthew Bremer, and his wife, Heather, of Cleveland, OK, grandchildren, Lauren, Ryan, Zachary, Madison, Nathan, Nicholas, Noah, and Aaron, sister, Sally Dunkelberger, and her husband, Larry, of Dunlap, Illinois, nieces, Stacey Dunkelberger, and Terry Plum, and numerous other family members, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, and grandson, Adam Bremer. In lieu of flowers, the family ask memorial donations may be made in Bill’s name to Clarehouse, 7617 S. Mingo Road, Tulsa, OK 74133.
