William "Bill" Prewett's Obituary
William Freeman Prewett Jr. was born in Tonkawa, Oklahoma on August 20, 1937. He passed away at the age of 79 on February 27, 2017 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Bill was preceded in death by his parents, William F. Prewett Sr. and Alma Gardner; his wife, LaVerne Prewett, and grandson, Logan Borland. He is survived by daughters Julie and husband Will Remington, Kim Borland, and Connie and husband Richard Ishmael; granddaughters Tina and spouse Todd Grego, Tiffany Sullivan, and Macy LeBeau; grandsons Cody Borland, Morgan Duckworth, and Matt and wife Stephanie White; great grandchildren Wyatt, Skylee, Linkkyn, Kenton, Daylyn, Hayden, Jasmine, Mattie, and Erika; business partner Larry Rose; brother Jerry and wife Janelle Prewett; and an abundance of nieces and nephews.Bill was a dedicated son, brother, husband, father, and grandfather to everyone in his family. He spent his entire life caring for family, friends, and clients. He was first and foremost a child of God and instilled those values to numerous people.He spent a large portion of his life leading music in churches and always encouraging even strangers. He tirelessly ministered to each and every person that walked into his office. He would do anything and everything to extend a hug, smile, and word of encouragement or advice. He has always been the rock of his family and knew that he made a significant impact on many lives. He will be greatly missed, but family and friends know that he’s been ready to see LaVerne once again. What a reunion that must be in Heaven!Visitation will be held at Floral Haven Funeral Home on Friday, March 3, from 5pm – 8pm. Funeral Services will take place on Saturday, March 4, 2017 at 12:30 pm.
