Mamie, Chris, and Kathy, I am so very sorry to hear the news. Your dad was a really nice man to me when I was just little and friends with Chris, I always liked him. Uncle Bill was a special uncle. He and his family–Mamie, Kathy and Chris–were so special when the Nachtsheim clan came from Montana to visit the Eggert/Nachtsheim relatives. I praise the Lord that Bill and his family were/are FBI people–Firm Believers in Christ. I will be praying for Mamie, Chris and Kathy and families during this difficult time. William Frederick Eggert Born: 23 November 1923Died: 23 January 2015 at age 91 ?Bill was born in Minneapolis, MN. ?Parents: Frederick Herman Eggert and Martha Marie Klein ?Siblings: Edna, Ruth Edwina Nachtscheim, Harold, Elnora Pauline Selness, Herbert Charles, Milton Max Julius, Virginia Anne Denny ?Bill was the last of his birth familyâ??s generation. ?Spouse: Mamie Arizona Tilson, age 95, of Tulsa ?Children: Kathy Elaine Walker, MD of Lake Charles, LA and Christy Ann Aycock of Broken Arrow, OK ?Served in the US Navy for the duration of WW II on the USS Ammen throughout the Pacific Theater. He was the last survivor of that WW II crew. ?Drafted and pitched for the Brooklyn Dodgers in the minor leagues 1947-49 and had an impressive record. Was known as â??Iron Armâ?
