I worked for Bill at the TG&Y in Bixby Oklahoma back in the early 80’s. Not sure why, but I always felt like I was his favorite employee. When filling out the schedule he would ask me what days I wanted to work. Lost touch with him when he left that store but I will always remember the man that gave me my first job. RIP Bill
"Billy" Heffernan! I went to grammar school with him. I remember him. How special it was to have our paths cross again after so many years. So sorry to read about Bill's untimely death. Bill and I were friends at The College of Emporia but I had no idea where he was or what he did. It's great to see that he would such a lasting impact on so many people. May his memory be for a blessing.
