I worked with Bill at Willbros for many years. He was a wonderful person and always friendly, and I will miss him terribly. One thing for certain about Bill, he never failed to produce quality work, and I always considered him one of the best at what he did. Out of the many engineers I've known and worked with in my career, Bill is on a short list of those that I've truly admired and respected.
It has been over twenty years since I last spoke with Bill. I am saddened by his passing. I remember as a kind, soft spoken man well liked and trusted by his fellow workers at Wilbros Engineering.Larry Thummel
