William Ray Lasson's Obituary
William Ray (Billy) Lasson, 78, of Tulsa, Oklahoma passed away on January 18, 2022, at St. Francis Hospital, surrounded by family. He was born on March 12, 1943, in Tulsa, Oklahoma to William and Ellen Lasson. He was a long-time member of CrossPoint Church in Sand Springs, Oklahoma. He worked at McDonnell Douglas Aerospace for 30 years, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Billy enjoyed boating, fishing, camping, riding his motorcycle, and planning family get-togethers.
He was preceded in death by his parents William and Ellen Lasson, brother Bobby Lasson and sister Wilda Randall. He is survived by his wife of 58 years Kaye Lasson of the Home, his son Chris, and his wife Lynn Lasson, and daughter Shelli Stanton and her husband Eric, both families of Tulsa, Oklahoma, grandchildren Scott Lasson, Heather Sanders, Cami Paul, Tyler Paul, and Chase Stanton, great-grandchildren Cooper Sanders, Cash Sanders, Laney Lasson Grady Lasson, his sisters Phyllis Burr and Charlene Smith of Tulsa, Oklahoma, and many other family members and friends.
Funeral services will be held to celebrate Billy's life at 10 AM on Tuesday, January 25, 2022, at CrossPoint Assembly of God Church in Sand Springs, Oklahoma with interment to follow at Floral Haven Memorial Gardens at 1:00 PM.
