William "Bill" Lee Gordon's Obituary
William “Bill” Lee Gordon passed away on Friday, July 30, 2010 in Tulsa. Bill was born October 31, 1933, Glenford, OH to Donald and Thelma Gordon. He married his wife, Judy, on February 8, 1959 and celebrated 51 years of marriage this past February. He is survived by his loving wife Judy Gordon; brother Ron and his wife Jo Ann of Glenford, OH; his children; Terry and his wife Mary Ellen of Tulsa; Christy and her husband Mitch of Tulsa; Randy and his wife Michelle of Sapulpa; and Dusty and his wife Amy of Broken Arrow; his grandchildren: Madalyn, her fiance Ryan Case, and Kenny; Hunter, Connor and Sarah; Ashley, Kelsey and Linsey; and Mikayla: and his great-grandchild: Trevin. After graduating from Glenford High School in 1951, Bill attended Ohio University in Athens, OH. He served as Captain in the U.S. Army and was honorably discharged 1963. Bill began his professional career spanning over forty years at Agrico Chemical and Centrilift Hughes. This journey had many stops along the way taking his family from Ohio to Massachusetts, Tennessee, North Carolina and ultimately Tulsa. He was a member of John Calvin Presbyterian Church, serving as a deacon, elder and trustee. Bill enjoyed traveling and spending time with Judy, attending his grandchildrens’ numerous sporting events and school activities, tending to his garden and tinkering around the house. Memorial service to be held August 3rd at 10 a.m. at John Calvin Presbyterian, in Tulsa. Condolences may be made at www.floralhaven.com.
