I am half sister to Ruth Hinton, James Warren and Carla B. I had fun with Willie and Frankie when they came to vist us on the farm in Iowa. one summer the boys wanted to smoke dried corn silk. Course I was supposed to get the silk. I am sure Willie will be greatly missed. Patricia Cruse

My wife and I met Willie and Wanda when we purchased property at lake Hudson. many years ago. We got to know them through mutual friends, Willie and I would go fishing together, very much enjoyed his company. Willie would do anything for anyone. He will be greatly missed. Larry and Norma Wagoner
Time goes by way to fast….. I have so many fond memories of my Uncle Willie and Aunt Wanda. I'm thankful that I got to visit them both last summer. Sending my prayers to my family, love you and wish I could be there.

My prayers are with Elwanda and family. I was born in 1950 so my memories are unlike my sister Ruth Warren Hinton, who wrote here also. Willie was my first cousin and I have recollections of fond references to all my cousins in the Tulsa area. Willie, as I recall, was noted for going to the "lake" and fishing. I am struck by his resemblance to 1950's rock and roll stars, ie. Billy Holly. You go rock with them now, Willie. WIllie was my first cousin on my dad's side! His mother, Dorothy, and my dad, Carl, were sister and brother! I was so glad to visit with Willie a couple of years ago at my sister, Carla's, house in Jenks! I had so much fun playing with Willie and his brother, Frankie, as kids, Prayers to Elwanda and Willie's family, He will be missed! He was such a fun loving person! Ruth Warren Hinton

Willie, Elwanda and I all lived within a block of each other in Oakhurst back in the 50's. Wilie and I were good friends until he decided to steal my girlfriend Elwanda. After that we just knew each other. So happy to hear their marriage lasted this long, and wish we could have stayed in touch. I stopped by Oakhurst several times over the years, but never managed to make contact with him. R.I.P Willie !
