Heroes get remembered but legends never die” ~The Babe (Sandlot)William “Bill” Anthony Lytle, 80 of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma passed from this life on Wednesday, September 18, 2019 in Catoosa, Oklahoma. He was born July 5, 1939 in Santa Rosa, California to his parents, Karl Cecil Lytle and Elizabeth Becker Lytle. He married the love of his life, Phyllis Ray Winters on October 19, 1974 in Carson City, Nevada and they have shared in over 44 beautiful years together.Bill spent 34yrs serving his community as a firefighter in Daly City and San Francisco, California. While working as a firefighter him and his family lived in Fremont, CA. He retired in 1994 and moved to Cleveland, Oklahoma. He lived there with Phyllis on 9acres until he moved to Broken Arrow in 2002.Bill is survived by his loving wife, Phyllis Lytle of the home; one daughter, Angie Bagley and her husband Chase of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; one step-son, Dennis Allen of Sand Springs, Oklahoma; one step-daughter, Renda Reynolds and her husband Gene of Cleveland, Oklahoma; one sister, Carolyn Gray and her husband Charlie of San Bruno, California; seven grandchildren, Samantha Bussard, Christina Allen, Larry Allen, Tina Allen, Brandon Allen, Trevor Allen and David Allen; four great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and extended family. He was preceded in death by his parents, Karl and Elizabeth Lytle; one son, Scott Anthony Lytle; and one step-son, James Warren Allen.Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, September 23, 2019 at Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor James Lacey officiating. Burial will follow at Floral Haven Memorial Gardens.
