William "Bill" Michael Henson's Obituary
William M. Henson, beloved companion, father, brother, uncle and friend, born Saturday, January 10, 1953 in Elyria, Ohio to his loving parents, William & Mary Henson; went to be with the Lord on Monday, August 1, 2016 in Tulsa, Oklahoma with his loving family by his side. William or better known as “Bill” by his family and friends; has been a resident of the Tulsa area for forty-eight years. Bill has been in the collision repair industry for many years starting “Henson Auto Body” as well as other locations over the years. In Bill’s free time he was an avid golfer playing many courses in the Tulsa area and enjoying bass and croppy fishing. What Bill truly enjoyed were the moments he shared with his family and friends that he loved so dearly. Fond memories will always be cherished of Bill especially his love of cars; he will be deeply missed by all those who had their lives touched by him. Bill is preceded in death by his loving parents, William & Mary Henson and his loving brother, Jim Henson. Bill is survived by his beloved companion of twenty-three years, Genie Henson; his two loving sons, William “Bill” Henson and Steven Henson; his beloved companions daughter, Gloria Brown & husband Steve; his beloved companions grandsons, Nate Sarver and Mason Sarver; his dear brothers, Doug Henson & wife Shari and John Henson & wife Shawna; his seven dearly loved nieces, Karen Norris & wife Laura, Cathy Border & husband Derrick, Sara Henson, Andrea Framel & husband Scott, Ashely Thomas & husband Justin, Brieanna Henson, Allison Henson; his three dearly loved nephews, Rick Henson, Luck Henson, Brandon Henson and numerous other loving family members and friends. A visitation will be held Thursday, August 4, 2016 from 11:00AM to 8:00PM at Floral Haven Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held Friday, August 5, 2016 at 2:00PM at Floral Haven Funeral Home in the Rose Chapel.
