Norman, William Thomas' Obituary
William Thomas Norman was born on April 6th, 1990, in Tulsa, Oklahoma to William and Theresa Norman. He grew up in the church and regularly participated in his mother’s bible club. His father and older sister fostered his fun personality, often laughing and playing games together. He spoke fondly of memories of playing football in high school and long days playing in the neighborhood with his childhood friends. William went on to complete a degree in cybersecurity in pursuit of his dream to enter the field of information technology.
William welcomed two children with his high school sweetheart and was both surprised and excited for the arrival of their third. He ensured that his wife and children knew that they were loved deeply and also the value of being present and enjoying the moment. He took great pride in being a father and husband.
William had big, dark curls and eyes that would disappear as he smiled. His shoulders bounced when he let out his hearty laugh. He was passionate about WWE, music, anime and gaming. These passions helped him to unwind and brought him great joy and comfort. William was fun-loving, silly, kind, and empathetic. He lived by the golden rule: treat others the way you would like to be treated.
William is survived by his wife, Julisa, and their children Amiya, Liam, and unborn son (due to arrive September 2025). He also leaves behind his parents; William and Theresa; sister Brittany; sister-in-law Mechelle; brother-in-law Jay; niece and nephews; Emaly, Gavon and Kyrie; paternal grandmother Willow, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents (Ruby & Herman Schuler), paternal grandfather (David Norman), step-grandfather (TJ Wheeler), childhood friend (Amos Perkins) mother-in-law (Debra Tate) and father-in-law (John Polite).
The visitation will be from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Friday, April 25, 2025, at Floral Haven Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will be 10:00 AM, Saturday, April 26th, 2025, at the Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel.
