William Wayne Ohlig's Obituary
William Wayne Ohlig, age 73, resident of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, passed from this life Wednesday, March 6, 2024 in Broken Arrow. He was raised in Hereford, Texas. William began as a lineman and worked his way up to dispatcher and retired with 45 years service for PSO. William was a funny person with a keen sense of humor. He was a hard, dedicated union worker. William loved to read and, enjoyed reading his Bible. William married the love of his life, Sherry Stookey, February 14, 1976, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He is survived by his loving wife, Sherry Ohlig; children, Megan Taylor and husband Sean, and Lindsey White and husband Matt; grandchildren, Ivy, Phoebe, Darcy, Ezekiel, Kennedy, Liam, and Oliver; and brothers, Ron Ohlig and wife Janet, Wade Ohlig and wife Angela, and John Ohlig.
William is preceded in death by his parents, Leo Ohlig and Dorothy (Young) Staloch; and brothers, Tony Ohlig and Gary Ohlig.
