William Samuel "Bill" Parsons' Obituary
William Samuel "Bill" Parsons, beloved husband, father, and friend, passed away on October 26, 2023 at the age of 84. Born on August 31, 1939, in Springfield, MO, he was the son of William Woodrow Parsons and Harriet Madrene (Hill) Parsons.
Bill lived a life filled with laughter, mischief, and a zest for adventure. He had a mischievous spirit and an ornery sense of humor that brought joy to everyone around him. Bill's outgoing nature and easy-going personality made him a cherished friend to many.
On August 27, 1983, Bill married the love of his life, Elizabeth Cinocca, in Muskogee, OK. Their union was a testament to their unwavering love and companionship throughout the years.
Bill had a passion for golf and spent countless hours on the green perfecting his swing. The group he played with were called the Grumpy Old Men. He was an avid fan of the OU Sooners and followed the Atlanta Braves baseball devotedly.
In his younger years, he would listen to gospel music on the radio with his parents, creating cherished memories that stayed with him throughout his life.
A true lover of summer, Bill found solace by the poolside, where he would spend hours soaking up the sun and enjoying the company of family and friends. He had a deep appreciation for travel and cherished his experiences in Florida and Cabo, where he embraced new cultures and created lasting memories.
He is survived by his loving wife, Elizabeth Parsons, son Thomas Cinocca and wife Misty, daughter Kristen Parsons and partner Randy Cox, grandchildren Destyne Cinocca, Alec Cinocca, Chase Cox, Christopher Cox, Cassidy Cox, Carlee Cox, great-grandchild Judy Cox, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and loved ones.
He is preceded by his parents, daughter Kelly Parsons, brother Robert Parsons and sister Sharon O’Dell.
Bill will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
