Tate, William's Obituary
William Allen Tate, a beloved 15-year-old, passed away suddenly at home on June 5th, 2025. Born on January 14th, 2010, William was a joyful soul who brought warmth and laughter to everyone around him.
William was a bright shining light in this world, always ready with a smile and a hug. He loved music, video games, hanging out and chatting with his friends, family gatherings, and prided himself on always having a joke on hand to make those around him laugh. A devoted son, brother, grandson, cousin, and friend, he will always be remembered for his kind spirit and infectious smile that left an indelible mark on everyone around him.
He is survived by his loving parents, Sara and Ryan Tate, and his cherished sisters Molly and Caroline.
His family and friends will grieve his loss, but we are so thankful to have had him in our lives. We are forever changed by being accepted and loved by his pure heart. His memory will live on and will continue to be an example to those he touched of what true love and kindness can look like in this world.
For those wishing to send a tribute to William, in lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to a small scholarship fund the family is creating in his memory to provide supplies and assistance to students and teachers in the Union School District.
