Bill married the love of his life, Dorothy “Dotty” Trueblood, on August 13, 1983, in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Together they shared 42 wonderful years of marriage and raised two beloved children, Bethany and Nate.
Bill worked as an air traffic controller, a career that suited his focus and patience. He and his family lived in Omaha, Nebraska, for 25 years before relocating to Tulsa, Oklahoma. A true family man, Bill was devoted to his wife and children, always providing laughter, guidance, and love.
Known for his good sense of humor and quick wit, Bill was a natural jokester who could brighten anyone’s day. In his earlier years, he coached baseball and was involved with the Boy Scouts, helping to shape young lives through mentorship and fun. He enjoyed spending time outdoors, especially ice fishing, taking his boat out, and tending to his garden.
He was also a talented handyman who could fix just about anything. Bill had a deep love for the Lord and for music. He played the guitar and trumpet and enjoyed singing.
