William Henry Warner's Obituary
William Henry Warner, 63, of Mounds, OK completed his journey on earth August 3, 2014.He was born December 18, 1950 in Austin, TX to Hiram Alford Warner of Austin and Lorraine Ellen Lancaster of Stuttgart, AR. Bill spent the last thirty years with his wife Rebecca (Wolf) Warner.He was raised in Houston, TX and was an avid Boy Scout and loved to share his memories of his 500 mile canoe trips through the Canadian outback wilderness and his summers with his cousins in Stuttgart AR. He attended Sam Houston State University and spent his life working in sales in Houston and Galveston before moving to the Tulsa area in 1976. He continued his passion to work with people through multiple jobs with the phone company, tool business, welding supply business, boat and hovercraft sales and even sold snake bite treatment. Bill continued his passion in sales selling tools and construction fasteners for 23 years for Hilti before retiring in 2012. He always said it was the best job he ever had. Bill achieved top sales awards throughout his career.He was smart and very opinionated. He loved working in his shop, building and fixing things. He was strong yet very compassionate and loved helping people. He was patriotic and loved his country. He enjoyed camping, scuba diving and followed NASCAR races with a passion, enjoying trips to several race tracks throughout the country. He just enjoyed life, which included family, good friends and neighbors. Bill will be missed by all who knew and loved him.He is survived by his mother Lorraine Smith, brother Speedy Warner, wife Becky Warner, daughter Heather Walters and son in-law Kerry, son Jason Warner and daughter in-law Ali, grandsons Bennett Walters and Harrison Warner and numerous other family members and friends.He was preceded in death by his father Hiram Warner and step father Lonnie Smith.A celebration of his life will be held at Floral Haven Memorial Gardens in Broken Arrow on Friday August the 8th at 3 pm.
