Wilma Fay Andersen, age 95, passed from this life Thursday, July 19, 2018, in Missouri. Wilma was born December 23, 1922, to Guy and Helen (Wilkinson) Cook, in Tulsa, Oklahoma.Wilma graduated from Union High School in 1940, and attended a business school in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She joined the United States Navy during World War II.Wilma loved gardening and horticulture. She was always creating floral arrangements. One of Wilma’s favorite past times was watching Wheel of Fortune. In fact, she usually knew the answer before the contestants did. She like word games, puzzles, baseball and basketball. She enjoyed studying her Bible. Raising a family of four (4) was her favorite of all favorites.Wilma will be dearly missed by her three sons: Glen Andersen and wife, Keith Andersen, and Martin Andersen and wife; 12 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and sisters: Thelma Miller and Betty Simpson.Wilma is preceded in death by her husband: Oscar Andersen; daughter: Sharon Louise Stanley; parents: Guy and Helen Cook; and sisters: Mildred Pickard ad Edith Thalman.Visitation is open to the public, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Tuesday, July 24, 2018, at the Floral Haven Funeral Home Visitation Suites, Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.A Celebration of Life service will be held 12:30 PM, Wednesday, July 25, 2018, at the Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel, Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.
