Wilma McDaniel's Obituary
Wilma Mae McDaniel, 77 of Owasso, Oklahoma passed from this life on Wednesday, February 13, 2019 in a Tulsa hospital with her family by her side. She was born January 27, 1942 in Mulberry, Arkansas to her parents, Rufus Almon Holt, Sr. and Mary “Hazel” Campbell Holt. Wilma married the love of her life, Coy “Gene” McDaniel on June 2, 1972 in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. Gene preceded her in death in 2018.Wilma attended Draughons School of Business where she received an Associates Degree. She went on to work as a computer programmer and analyst for F & M Bank where she worked for 43 years. She enjoyed watching her husband in Drag Racing and Sprint Cars Racing. She also loved to watch NASCAR racing.Wilma is survived by two daughters, Glenna Cooper and wife Timi Richardson of Owasso, Oklahoma and Annette Masterson and husband David of Murfreesboro, Tennessee; one son, Troy McDaniel and wife Beverly of Tulsa, Oklahoma; two brothers, Jesse Holt and wife Lois of Ringold, Georgia and David Holt and wife Charlotte of Ozark, Arkansas; two sisters, Willie Ruth Jones of Mulberry, Arkansas and Marilyn Marshall Kiser and husband Blaine of Dyer, Arkansas; eight grandchildren and five great-granddaughters. She was preceded in death by her parents, Rufus and Hazel Holt; her husband, Coy “Gene” McDaniel; and one brother, Rufus Holt, Jr.Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 17, 2019 at Floral Haven Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, February 18, 2019 in the Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel. The family is hosting a reception immediately following the funeral ceremony at Floral Haven’s Family Center.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to ALS, P.O.
