Wilma Bernice Shatswell's Obituary
Wilma Bernice Shatswell, age 89 passed this life on March 21, 2025 in Owasso, Oklahoma. She entered this life and began her legacy on June 17, 1935 in Stilwell, Oklahoma to her parents Glove Walters and Ana Mae (Wilson) Walters. Wilma enjoyed many things in life, especially vacationing and playing with her grandchildren. During her working career she was a seamstress, something she was very talented at.
Wilma was a light in many people’s lives and she will be greatly missed, and all her memories she has cherished her loved ones with will forever be held close to them.
Wilma is preceded in death by her father Glove Walters; mother Ana Mae (Wilson) Walters and an infant brother; sisters Ruby Kester, and Rita Faye Allen; brothers Garland Walters and Gene Walters; her first husband Bobby Lee Eaton; and her beloved husband Dub Shatswell.
She is survived by her brothers Bill Walters and his wife Pearle of Sperry and Jim Walters and his wife Kathy of Broken Arrow; sons Ervin Eaton and his wife Patty of Oologah, Timothy Eaton and his wife Teresa of Owasso; grandchildren Stephen Eaton, Dewayne Eaton, John Eaton, Steven Eaton, and Aleisha Eaton; 20 great grandchildren; and 5 great great grandchildren.
A celebration of Wilma's life will be held on Saturday, March 29, 2025 at 3:00 PM at Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma with Navil Vaughan officiating. Burial will follow the service at Floral Haven Memorial Gardens in the Garden of Last Supper.
