Wilson Tuter's Obituary
Everett Wilson Tuter, affectionately known as Wilson, beloved husband, father, grandfather and friend, passed away on January 27, 2024 in Tulsa, OK. He was born on September 17, 1932, in Saint Clair, Missouri, the son of Henry Everett Tuter and Zella Viola Ware.
On March 25, 1950, Wilson married the love of his life, Betty Tuter, in Arkansas. Together, they shared a lifetime of love, laughter, and precious memories. Everett was a devoted family man and a loving husband, and his loss will be deeply felt by all who knew him.
Wilson had a passion for the outdoors and enjoyed many hobbies throughout his life. He found joy in fishing, hunting, riding four-wheelers, working in his shop, and camping. His adventurous spirit and love for nature were evident in the time he spent pursuing these activities.
Those who knew Wilson will remember him as an ornery and playful teaser who cherished spending time with his family and friends. His loyalty and commitment to those he loved were unwavering, and his presence will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Wilson's spirit will live on in the hearts of his loved ones, and his memory will continue to bring comfort and joy to those who were touched by his remarkable life.
Wilson is preceded in death by his parents, brother Bill Tuter, brother Kenny Tuter, sister Marie Tuter, sister Cathryn Tuter, Earl Dee
Wilson is survived by his loving wife Betty, son Rickey Tuter and wife Sharon, daughter Sue Cole, son Roger Tuter and wife Connie sister Kathleen Shoemaker, sister Opal Myers, 9 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Sunday, February 4, 2024 from 12-3 PM at Floral Haven Funeral Home
Funeral service will be held Monday, February 5, 2024 at 12:30 PM at Floral Haven Funeral Home with Pastor Brent Thurber officiating
Interment will follow at Floral Haven Memorial Gardens
Family has requested in lieu of cut flowers that potted plants be sent instead
