Belinda, I am so sorry for your loss. Wilton was a wonderful person who had an amazing ability to make people feel comfortable which I know helped him be successful in his work and his personal life. Nearly twenty years ago I met Wilton as I was getting into this field. He was a wonderful professional friend and a very special person. Often I ran into him at seminars we checked in about our families, he always had wonderful things to say about you and his family. Wilton saved my daughter's life. He is one of the most precious souls I have ever met. I want to thank his family for sharing him with the entire Street School family. I am sure that work followed him home sometimes and was difficult. He was always positive, reassuring and present to listen and really hear people. My daughter can't even talk about it. She misses him so much. Seeing him everyday made her life better, happier. She loved working on ANY project he had for students because she got to spend time with him. My life is changed because of this wonderful man because my daughter's life was changed by him. I know that there are many stories like mine, probably too many to count. I just wanted you to know mine. Thank you Wilton, thank you Cuevas family.

I first met Wilton in a week-long training, and often saw him at other workshops through the years. He was always such a smiling face, and cared so much for the Street School students. He will be missed, and my heart goes out to his family and close friends.

Wilton completely filled Street School with his passion, humor, and zest for life. I am so thankful for all of the stories and memories. It brightens my heart while at the same time brings great sadness remembering all that was Wilton. I can see him saying "How you doin'" while doing the shoulder shrug thing, his "Hey Lady," and my personal favorite, the dance moves from the Jets straight from "West Side Story." Thank you for making my life better. And thank you for all that you did to help our youth.
