Woody was one of my favorite people. He was a great neighbor, terrific boss, and unforgettable mentor. He touched the hearts of so many in the education field.
The photo was taken in 1976, the year of the bicentennial. Woody, Scott, Nancy, Betsy Martin, Patrick (PJ) Martin. Good memories!
I enjoyed working with Dr. Woody while he was member of our graduate faculty in the College of Education at Oral Roberts University. He provided valued assistance in both the design of and the accreditation for the doctoral program.
My wife, Jackie, and I are so sorry for your loss! Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
Blessings, Dr Earl VanEaton, ORU Dean and Professor (Retired)
Sympathy and prayers for you, Doris and family I surely loved Woody and remember both of you at TCF, then FUMC. You have been such a caring wife then caregiver for the past many years.

Doris, I made a contribution to the Alzheimer's Association in Woody's name. From the experience of two very recent deaths in our family, I know you will have PLENTY of flowers.
