Zeenat John's Obituary
Zeenat John, 75, died Tuesday August 9,2022 surrounded by her family.
She leaves behind her children, Blossom Samuel, Bernice John and Bob Hanson; her
grandchildren Ariel Samuel, Noah Samuel, Connor John, and Logan John.
She was born in Karachi Pakistan on December 24, 1946 and traveled to Okmulgee,
Oklahoma in 1979 to give her family a better life in the United States of America. She
ensured that her children would have the ability to practice Christianity freely and
receive the best education they could, by coming to the United States of America.
Some of her hobbies included cooking delicious Pakistani food, sewing, watching old Bollywood movies, listening to Elvis Presley gospel songs, and encouraging friends and family with her faith in Jesus Christ. She would often support family overseas through gifts and prayer. She was also quietly battling breast cancer while never complaining or afraid of death because she knew that one day she would be healed. She loved her church, Woodlake Assembly of God and would attend as often as her health would allow.
She loved all her children and grandchildren deeply and sacrificed for their well-being. She worked two jobs throughout her life to ensure that her children had everything that they needed and so she could ensure that they could receive an education. Often times after work, she would watch her grandchildren while her kid’s attended college. She spent most of her life helping others as a nurse and had a kind heart. She was most proud of being a Grandmother to Ariel, Noah, Connor, and Logan. She loved and cared for her grandchildren throughout her life and provided anything they needed or wanted. She was passionate about her children and grandchildren and wanted to spend as much time as possible with them. She will be greatly missed and was loved deeply by her family.
