Zelma Lou Christian, age 71, passed away on December 12, 2014 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Zelma was born on October 17, 1943 in Bixby, Oklahoma to her parents John Wesley Rye and Georgia Helen Smith. Zelma received her general education from Bixby Public Schools. She married the love of her life, Bob Christian, on December 29, 1961 in Sapulpa, Oklahoma. Zelma cherished her family and the time she got to spend with them on vacations. Zelma was preceded in death by her parents John Wesley and Georgia Helen Rye and her sister Jean Cox. Zelma is survived by her husband Bobby Christian Sr., her two sons Bobby Christian Jr (spouse Kay) and John Christian (spouse Lucy), her four grandchildren Robert Christian (spouse Amber), Nikki Howell (spouse Jake), Alexis Christian, and Colton Christian, her two great grandchildren Samuel Christian and Zane Howell, her three sisters Helen Conrad (spouse Eugene), Johnie Baker, and Janice Pickett, and numerous nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.
