Zelma Ritschel's Obituary
Ritschel, Zelma passed away March 21, 2010. She was preceded in death by her husband Cecil G. Ritschel; her parents, Sherman and Jessie Batchelder; and brothers, Glenn and Melvin. She is survived by children Linda Cypert, Robert Ritschel, and Jan Munson. She was also blessed with eight grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren. Zelma worked for many years at Zale’s Jewelry, and was also employed at Commerce National Bank. She was a longtime member of Memorial Christian Church in Tulsa and upon retiring from CNB she moved to Bella Vista, Arkansas. While living there she sang in the BV Women’s Chorus and joined Bella Vista Christian Church. Upon returning to Tulsa several years ago, she became an active member of Asbury United Methodist Church and participated in Women’s Methodist Fellowship, Tweenagers, Word Finders Community and the Singing Ambassadors. A graveside service will be held on Friday, March 26th at 1:00 p.m., Memorial Park Cemetery, Tulsa with a celebration of Life to follow for Zelma at the Asbury Methodist Church, 6767 S. Mingo, Tulsa, Oklahoma in the Mason Chapel on Friday, March 26th at 2:00 p.m. The viewing will be Thursday, March 25th, 12 9 p.m. with the family receiving friends from 6 8 p.m. at Floral Haven Funeral Home, 6500 S. 129th East Ave., Broken Arrow, OK.
