Zera Mae Linde's Obituary
LINDE – Zera Mae, 79, passed away suddenly May 9, 2009. She was born at Morningside Hospital in Tulsa on November 24, 1929 to Anna Fay and John Blackwell. She attended Daniel Webster where she played clarinet in the band and graduated in the class of 1948. She married Loyd Linde on December 28, 1947 and had 3 children. Zera attended First United Methodist Church where she belonged to the Fellowship Class, sang in the Chancel Choir and Melodears Choir and for many years played in the Bell Choir and taught Sunday school. She received a Medical Laboratory Technician degree from Tulsa Junior College and was a registered MLT. She belonged to the Phi Theta Kappa society. Zera was preceded in death by her parents, her brother JT, and her sister Mary Dean High. She is survived by her loving husband Loyd, son David Joe, son Loyd Ragon and his wife Kerri, daughter Dr. Sharon Linde Wann, brother Ken Blackwell, 7 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Services will be Wednesday, May 13, 2009, at 10 am, at First United Methodist Church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to First Methodist. Lunch will follow the service.
