The brief time I was honored to be around Wes, at the Broken Arrow lodge or at OU football tailgates, it didn't take long to realize he was honest, sincere and always had a story to share. He will be greatly missed and I will always treasure my 'pop-top' necklace. BOOMER SOONER to a great man and a great friend!! Steve Payne
Every time I saw him he all ways came over and hugged me.
I remember Wes being one of the first members of the Broken Arrow Elks to make me feel welcome and comfortable at the lodge alway a smile and a hi when you came in the door thank you Wes for your friendship. RIP tell we meet again . Mike Inman
