Arnold, “Buddy” Kunze born August 24th 1928 on the family farm in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. He passed from this life on July 16th, 2021, a month shy of his 93rd birthday at home. He had a great family reunion greeting him in heaven. Read Obituary
I knew Arnold at the Historical Society when we built the new museum. He was a great resource for the cotton growing era in BA history. We had many great conversations about details and I always enjoyed his company. Such a kind and generous soul. I saw on FB just today that we lost him. I’m so sorry. I met Buddy when I was almost 11 years old when I joined Troop 26 back in 1979. He was always there to help out and as I got older and eventually became a volunteer my self, I was able to call Buddy my friend. He was a mentor to many and I will always appreciate his kindness and willingness to help others.
My deepest condolences to Buddy's family and friends. He will be greatly missed by all that knew him.
