Arnold William Kunze Jr.'s Obituary
Arnold, “Buddy” Kunze born August 24th 1928 on the family farm in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. He passed from this life on July 16th, 2021, a month shy of his 93rd birthday at home. He had a great family reunion greeting him in heaven.
Buddy was a loving father, grandfather, great grandfather, uncle, brother, son and friend. He was the optimum volunteer. He mowed the church lawn and was volunteer maintenance man at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Tulsa for over 45 years. He volunteered with the Boy Scouts for over 55 years earning a Silver Beaver Award. He also served on his credit union board for 46 years.
He loved fishing and golfing and working in the yard. He loved family gatherings and fried chicken. He was a life long Lutheran and proud of his German Heritage making several trips to meet relatives and go see where his grandfather was born and lived prior to immigrating to America.
He is survived by his wife of 70 years, Evelyn, sons Bill (Dianna), Tim (Barbara), daughter Ellen (Cassie). 6 grandchildren: Tim Kunze Jr (Alayna), Dane Kunze (Hilary), Lindsey Embry (Joe), Rachel Wilkie (Alan), Andrea Stalder (Jason), Allison Kunze. 6 great grandchildren: Jacob, Addy, Brynlee, Nadja, Gwynelyn and Zekiel. His sister Bertha Martin and her children and grandchildren.
