My memories of Uncle Verneal are from his visits to the home of my parents, Howard & Maudie (Forbes) Bevard in Broken Arrow, OK. I remember "Chief" as a big, robust, handsome man who was full of energy and life. His visits with Mom & Dad were so enjoyable and I know they were always happy to see or hear from him. May Uncle Verneal rest in peace.

My memories of Verneal are from his visits to my parents (Howard & Maudie Bevard) in Broken Arrow. I remember him as a tall, robust, handsome man who always had interesting stories to share and always seemed to enjoy life. My parents really enjoyed being in touch with him and I have fond memories of him laughing with them. Rest in Peace Uncle Verneal.
