Lit a candle in memory of Barbara I. Whiteley
So many wonderful memories of Barbara for both of us. What a great lady! Peaceful thoughts for you all. Suzie (Adams) Sullivan and Bobbie Jo Adams
I have many fond memories of Barbara. My favorite one is the Thanksgiving she packed ALL of her family from Tulsa, including the whole Thanksgiving dinner to Texas, even her turkey roaster with the bird inside. More importantly, Barbara brought the family spirit always.
I will never forget Grandma Whiteley's beautiful, contagious smile. She lit up a room or stadium whenever she walked in the placeā¦and could be heard over the thousands of fans there. Barbara was the most loyal fan of her "home" teams I've ever met; I will forever hear her voice calling out the refs who made lousy calls against any of her teams, and think of her fondly. She was loved by so many, and also loved so many, whose lives she touched forever. Barbara was a legend indeed, and have no doubt Heaven has received one of its greatest angels. Love to you all Whiteley family and friends. All my love xo
Lynette and family, Our sympathies are with you; we send prayers for healing and strength, from your friends here at Inverness Village, Phyllis Gardner and Don Henderson and the entire Pilates class.
We are very sorry to hear about your mother, Lou. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.Walt and Beverley Fielding, Mounds, Ok
Dear Lou, Lee, and Lynette. We wanted you to know that you are in our thoughts and prayers. Your Mother and Grandmother Ted were very special people in my life. As you may know they were extremely helpful to me during my college years at OSU. Ted provided me an affordable place to live and a job at the student union in Stillwater and your mother allowed me to stay in your home during my weeks of practice teaching in Tulsa . The honest truth is that without their help it would have been imposable for me to complete my degree. I was so blessed to have them in my life. They were such great role models to me, always with a cheerful heart full of love and encouragement. Please stay in touch with your country cousins and may God give you peace and comfort during this difficult time. Bill & Teresa Garner Red Oak, OK. 918-413-9987
