My thoughts and prayers go out to Darren and all the family. I knew Becky from Parsons, and knew Darren and her would be a great couple. It sounds like she lived a full, wonderful life, and many people will have wonderful memories to cherish.
I remember Becky being a lady tough as nails because she was a runner and made it a point to run every day in the Houston heat and humidity while undergoing treatment at MD Anderson. She was an inspiration to me because she was always promoting health and fitness even during her illness. I only knew Becky for 4 short years but our friendship seemed like a life time. That's just how Becky was…she loved life, family, friends, and her dogs. I loved this lady and to Darren, Meghan, Maddie, and Morghan, take comfort in knowing I am praying for you and asking God's grace to hold you up during this difficult time.
[i carry your heart with me(i carry it in] e.e. cummingsi carry your heart with me(i carry it in my heart)i am never without it(anywhere i go you go,my dear;and whatever is done by only me is your doing,my darling) i fear no fate(for you are my fate,my sweet)i want no world(for beautiful you are my world,my true) and itâ??s you are whatever a moon has always meant and whatever a sun will always sing is youhere is the deepest secret nobody knows (here is the root of the root and the bud of the bud and the sky of the sky of a tree called life;which grows higher than soul can hope or mind can hide) and this is the wonder that's keeping the stars aparti carry your heart(i carry it in my heart)** dearest darren, meghan, morghan & madison – i will always carry Becky in my heart with you. much love, lisa
Becky was my best friend before I left Parsons in 1975. Although we never reconnected i thought of her often. I remember the trips we took to her grandmother's farm, the fun that we had and the trouble that we got into together. They are some of my best memories. Be comforted that Becky will live in the hearts and memories of many people that she touched throughout her life.Jennifer Griffith Whittall Fort Lauderdale
Darren: Please accept our heartfelt sympathies for your loss. Our thoughts are with you and your family. Sincerely, Kelly Phillips (Parsons)
I remember Becky always being the " Positive" one at our daughters soccer games. No matter how rough the other team was, how rude their parents were or the disagreements we had with the ref, Becky would be the one to cool our jets!! She loved her family dearly!! Even when my son threw a rock at young Maddie, she teased him about "flirting" with her daughter and never said a negative word. She will be missed and we know she is with God as a beautiful angel. God Bless you Meghan, Morghan, Madison and Darin. Keep your head up cause that is what she would want you to do and live life to the fullest each day, she is with you.
There was no one with a sweeter soul. No one with a more beautiful smile. Always a kind word to everyone. Her courageous spirit and spunky sass and astounding faith and positive outlook will be but a few things I will remember about her. Heaven is rejoicing as they welcome home a Daughter of God. Love you and see you later, Miss Becky. XOXO Dawn Hackney
