Becky Lou Harwood Saliba's Obituary
Becky Lou Harwood Saliba, age 52, went to be with her Lord and Savior on August 12, 2014 after a courageous battle with cancer. Becky was born on March 21, 1962 in Parsons, KS. Where she attended Parsons Schools and the First Baptist Church. She graduated from Parsons High School in 1980 and Pittsburg State University in 1984 with a degree in Secondary Education. On August 31st, 1985 she married Darren Saliba, also of Parsons. He lives in their home in Broken Arrow, OK. She had professional careers throughout her life. Most recently she worked in the guidance counseling office at Oliver Middle School. Her most beloved and prized career was that of a mother, wife, sister, aunt, friend and lover of all things good. Becky’s life was devoted to her husband and her three daughters: Meghan Elise, Morghan Claire, and Madison Jane Saliba. Becky loved to cook and host large family gatherings. She enjoyed being outdoors , soaking in the sun and planting beautiful flower gardens. Becky liked to read books and daily devotionals. And she adored the companionship of her friends and family. She also loved her small zoo of dogs. She spent much time watching her daughters play soccer where she made many fond memories and wonderful friends. Her surviving family includes her husband, Darren, three daughters, Meghan, Morghan and her fiance’ Jason Bringaze, and Madison, all from Broken Arrow, Ok. One brother, Larry Harwood and his wife Diane of Houston, TX; and numerous nieces, nephews, sister and brother-in-laws that love her dearly. She was preceeded in death by her parents Robert and Charlea “Peg” Harwood and her brother Duane “Dude” Harwood. In lieu of flowers the family is suggesting memorials made to the Susan G.
