I was fortunate to meet Billie in just the last few months. Almost immediately i felt a sense of warmth and connection with her. She told me she used to be an English teacher. I told her my use of the words "Saw" and "Seen" were forever used in the wrong tense. So from then on she made a point to correct my usage, always apologizing not wanting to sound too critical. I reassured her that constant correction was exactly what I needed. She even gave me homework. She also mentioned I shouldn't chew gum with my mouth open..lol. I was really looking forward to continuing our friendship however her journey on this earth was through. (I know I shouldn't end a sentence with a preposition) I hope our paths will cross again some time. She was such an inspiration and tower of strength. I'm grateful to have known her. Marcy Janitz
