Yesterday I read in the Anchorage Daily News the obituary for BJ. I met her and Jim here in Anchorage, but actually knew of them before, as Jim was the son of Herbert & Martha Parker who had the Parker House in Tok. BJ & Jim met with me a few times and shared memories of the Parker House and of their times around Tok, Fairbanks and some of what they did in Anchorage. I attended Jim's service here in Anchorage at the Shriners building, and unfortunately I believe that was the last real time I saw and visited with BJ. I sure hope you have a notice in the Anchorage paper as to when the memorial service will be here in Anchorage. I remember they both talked about someday cleaning out a storage unit which housed a lot of the old Parker House items (Herbert & Martha also passed away here in Anchorage). If there are any Parker House items/pictures that BJ might have still had I would be very interested in talking to you about them as I still am connected to Tok and the Parker House set right across from our house. BJ was really devoted to Jim—it's a reassuring thought to know she is now reunited with him and also with Mr. & Mrs. Parker. God Bless you all Geralyn (Broker) Curtis
