I have been privileged to know B.L. Oats for many years. In our conversations, it was evident that he had a great love for his family. When asked about the kids, he always spoke with a twinkle in his eyes and a smile on his face. He loved "Mrs. Oats." In Sunday School class, it was evident that he had great respect for her and for her theological opinions. He loved Mingo Manufacturing and his work as an engineer. He spoke as one who had great affection for his boss and for his fellow-employees. B.L. Oats was a Christian gentleman. He is leaving this world better than he found it. I'm sure he is brightening up heaven today. We will miss you.
Going to miss your hugs and our talks. You always made me laugh and gave me a huge smile. Love you. Your Sunshine. See ya later
B.L. was a great person to work with. He was very loyal and focused to the company that he worked for, for so many years. He never faded in his drive and ambition. Always ready to help. Great personality, sensible, well spoken. A leader of people. I miss him. I will always remember Mr. B.L. Oats. – Victoria Jackson
