Dear Nancy & Family,Words cannot express how I felt when I heard the news about Bobby. I am sorry that I could not attend the funeral, but did not hear about the news until Sunday afternoon. Bobby was a great cousin to Ken, always there for everyone in the family. There memories of one another was such a blessing. I just wish I could have spent more time with you all on our visits to Tulsa. He will truly be missed, but I know he is in a much better place in heaven with the Lord. Our thoughts and prayers go out to everyone in your family.
I WORKED WITH BOB AT THE GEOLOGICAL SURVEY IN 1949. THERE WAS SOMETHING SPECIAL & DIFFERENT IN THIS YOUNG MAN. HE WAS SMART, INTELLIGENT, FUN & HUMBLE. HE LIKE DIET PEPSI,IN FACT I HAD MY FIRST TASTE OF IT WHEN HE HAD ME DRIVE ON OUR AFTERNOON BREAK TO BUY TWO. I WAS SINCERELYSHOCKED TO READ OF HIS DEATH. MOSTLY I AM SORRY THAT WE DIDN'T STAY IN TOUCH. BOB WAS A 'SPECIAL' FRIEND. MY CONDOLENCES TO NANCY & FAMILY. I TRULY APPRECIATED THE OBITUARY IN TODAY'S TULSA WORLD. BE AT PEACE MY FRIEND.
