Bob Hines' Obituary
Bob Hines, age 66 years and 6 months, of Tulsa passed from this life on Friday, January 28, 2010. He was born on July 14, 1944 in Poteau, Oklahoma to Bob and Willajo Hines. Bob graduated from Central High School and the Oklahoma School of Accounting and served his country with the U.S. Navy. Bob married Nancy (Taylor) Hines on March 20, 1982 in Tulsa. He was a Supervisory Auditor with the U.S. Dept. of Interior. He was the past President of the Heartland Council of the Institute of Management Accounting and a member of New Beginnings Church. He was also the past President of the Communications Federal Credit Union, and was an Assistant Manager of Tulsa Federal Credit Union. Bob was a loving husband, father and family man. He always thought of others first and was an incredibly selfless individual who loved his family and helping others. Our sadness at his absence is tempered by the knowledge he is at peace and with God. Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Bob and Willajo Hines. He is survived by his wife, Nancy of 28 years; son: Stephen and wife Amy; son: Cole and fiancée, Briana Buck; grandchildren: Elizabeth, Philip, Joseph and Kathrine; sister: Kay Todd; niece: Shari and husband Justin Thomas; nephew: Blake Welch; great niece: Kaylynn Jones; great nephew: Austin Chenault.
