Bobby Dwight Giles' Obituary
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Bobby Dwight Giles, 73, a resident of Owasso, Oklahoma, who left this world behind to be with God on August 9, 2023 at his residence, surrounded by his loving family. He was born August 8, 1950 in McAlester to Guy Gene and Irene Giles.
After graduating from Haileyville High School, Bobby enlisted in military service. He was a true patriot who spent six years active duty in the Military. He served five of those years overseas, a year in Vietnam and four years in Germany. During his service in Vietnam he got wounded and he received the Purple Heart. For his heroic, meritorious service he also received the Bronze Star. He loved traveling and enjoyed the outdoors.
He was preceded in death by his mother Irene Giles and his father Guy Gene Giles. He is survived by his wife Klara, his sons David and Bobby, six grandchildren, a great grandson, and his siblings, Mike, Pam and Cindy.
A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, August 16 at 11. a.m. at Floral Haven Rose Chapel (6500 S 129th E Ave, Broken Arrow, OK 74012).
