"My Aunt Fonda was an instrument of God who has made life-long imprint on my life. When I was a preschool child, she made a quilt for my doll's bed. During my adult years, she made a quilt for each of my children when they were born. If I and my family were traveling and stopped by to see them, she and Uncle Cliff welcomed us warmly and encouraged us to spend the night. Aunt Fonda was a beautiful homemaker, decorator, cook, and mother to me and my family. After both my parents were gone to heaven, I considered her and Uncle Cliff to be my mother and daddy. She was a great cook. Everything from her kitchen was delicious, especially Swiss Steak, lemon icebox dessert, and pies. Even Jello at her house was an exciting treat. Her presence and compassionate care made the ordinary things in life very special. She was the example of the Proverbs 31 woman, worthy of emulation. I thank God for Aunt Fonda!"
