Bula "Fonda" Boyles' Obituary
Bula “Fonda” Boyles, born March 29, 1925, in Cushing, OK, to Oren Kessler Gillespie and Lettie Mae (Hesser) Gillespie, passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones. Fonda married the love of her life, Clifford Earl Boyles, and together they shared 78 wonderful years of marriage. Clifford passed in December 2024, and her family finds comfort knowing they are now reunited.
Fonda is survived by her children and their spouses: Diana and Gene Casillas, Kathy and James Johnson, Lanny and Toni Boyles, all of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; grandchildren and their spouses: Shawn and Tammie Casillas of Fort Smith, Arkansas, Matthew and Lucy Casillas of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, Ben Johnson of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, and Kelly Boyles of Long Beach, California; great-grandchildren: Nicole, Ella, Clayton, Cavan and Caleb Casillas all of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, Kadi Casillas of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Zachary Jones of Utah, Savanna Idlemen of Manford, Oklahoma, Ethan Johnson of Sapulpa, Oklahoma, Serenity and Braden Johnson of Coffeeville, Kansas; five (5) great-great-grandchildren; sister: and Lois Furgason of Chickasha, Oklahoma. She is preceded in death by her husband Clifford Boyles, her granddaughter Nikole Johnson, and her parents, Oren and Lettie Gillespie.
A visitation will be held Wednesday, August 6th, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM in the Rose Chapel at Floral Haven. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 PM at the same location.
