Caleb Edward Haggerty's Obituary
Caleb Edward Haggerty was born at Hillcrest Medical center in Tulsa, Oklahoma on October 5, 1994. He passed from this life in the blink of an eye at the age of 16years, 5 months and 29 days on April 4, 2011. Caleb was a student at Metro Christian Academy, where he transferred from a 2 year stay at Town and Country School and had attended Jenks Public Schools from pre-k to 7th grade. Caleb had an ever-present love for his family, friends, and animals. He enjoyed his job at the bowling alley where he was also on 2 different bowling leagues. Caleb was hoping to be a Veterinarian like his dad. He had a tender heart for all those he loved, including his pit bull 'Chip' and Pekinese 'Ace'. Caleb had a new found love for R.C. or radio controlled truck racing with his brother-in-law Tim. He loved football and was looking forward to being on the varsity football team at Metro Christian Academy. Caleb had a passion for his car and was in the process of customizing it with his brother-in-law Tim's help. There are no words to describe the pain of our loss. We know Caleb is with our Heavenly Father and Lord Jesus Christ and this is our comfort. We will always love our Caleb and his heart of gold. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Edward Ostapowich and his paternal grandmother, Evelyn Cascone. Caleb is survived by his loving father and mother, Dr. George and Mariann Haggerty of Tulsa; his beloved Nano, Marcella Ostapowich of Tulsa; 2 sisters, Kathy Borgne and husband Tim of Owasso, Rachel Osorio and husband Ricky and their 3 children of Woodbridge, Virginia; Dan Haggerty and wife Shannon of Pineville, Kentucky; his uncle Ed and aunt Veronica Ostapowich and cousins, Dalton and Landon of Dewar; uncle Jack and aunt Edie Cummings and cousins Rebekah and Danielle of Gainesville, Missouri and a host of extended family and friends. The family will receive friends from 6:00 ' 8:00 p.m. on Thursday. A funeral service will be held on Friday, 10:00 a.m., April 8, 2011 at Park Plaza Church of Christ in Tulsa with interment following at Floral Haven Memorial Gardens.
