Carl Dewayne Carpenter's Obituary
Carl Dewayne Carpenter, 69, of Tulsa, died on Thursday, August 4, 2016. He was born on July 13, 1947, in Talihina, Oklahoma, the son of Cimmon and Kelsie (Alexander) Carpenter. On August 8, 1986, he married Linda Waldron, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was a well known chef in the Tulsa area, having been at The Elephant Run Restaurant for around 30 years. His hobbies included bowling, and spending time with his family. He is survived by his wife, Linda Carpenter, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, son, Kevin Wayne Carpenter, and his wife, Staci, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, grandchildren, Robert Fields, and his wife, Teresa, Christopher Frederic, Kaden Carpenter, Elizabeth Haws, Laura Haws, and Lauren Carpenter, all of Tulsa, Oklahoma, great-grandchildren, Evan, Faith, Seth, and Emily Fields, siblings, Kenneth Carpenter, and his wife, Brenda, of Checotah, Oklahoma, Connie Wear, and her husband, Randy, of Ada, Oklahoma, Sue Fish, and her husband, Willie, of Norman, Oklahoma, Dusty Miller, Shirley Miller, Leta Burwell, Mae Blankenship, and her husband, Eddie, and Tami Morris, all of Ada, Oklahoma. He was preceded in death by his parents, two daughters, Carla Fields, and Elizabeth Carpenter, brother, Terry Miller, and sister, Mattie Thurman.
